“I Hate Backbends” I hear this so often and the answer to why is generally the same… “because it hurts my lower back”. Most of us have fixated in our minds that backbending BENDS our spine.. yeah, sure it bends a little but what about EXTENSION? “we bend so we don’t break” is a lovely saying but find the SPACE to bend or else you just might break!!
To go down the stairs a slinky will open out first and then bend, your vertebrae is just the same.. “EXTEND IT AND THEN BEND IT” to find lower back freedom.. to find out how.. wait for something that’s on the horizon xx
